Specific attention was paid to what was referred to as the betrayal of parliamentary norms and the abuse of constitutional provisions in the decisions by the combined opposition.“Cabinet further contended that the abandonment and betrayal of parliamentary norms also were evident at decisions made at the committee of supply that considered the financial Papers Seven and Eight,” the HPS said.Motions have been drafted and presented at the level of parliament, questioning those decisions and requesting the House to declare them null and void.
